The Association holds an annual conference within which it seeks to address issues that are contemporary to practitioners in learning disability. Details of all Conferences are circulated in advance to the membership and announced in relevant journals.
Some of you will be aware that the last two conferences we tried to run had to be cancelled due to insufficient uptake of places. Naturally, we’d like to do all we can to ensure that any event we put on is one that meets your needs…..so we’d like to get your views and suggestions about what sort of event you’d like to see APLD put on for you.
Perhaps you’d like to tell us a few things like: the type of event you’d prefer (conference/interactive workshop/etc); the topic(s) you’d like to cover; location; format; cost; time of year; anything else at all you’d like to suggest.
